Leaving my gate open

I've been leaving my gate open sometimes after I play, so don't hesitate to check out Gnawbone. I'll probably be in my house "watching TV."

Just don't take all my flowers! Leave me a message if you drop by! :)

animal crossing calender

So I was browsing a site dedicated to animal crossing, and you can download a calender to your mac/pc to remind you of "important dates," like contests, flea markets, etc.

Coleman has Animal Crossing

I now have Animal Crossing. Yes, I bought the bundle with WiiSpeak, so let's do this. Come to my living room!

Animal Crossing Code: 4167-8088-6984
Name: Nippy
Town: Gnawbone
Fruit: Peaches

Brad has Animal Crossing - start of introductions

Brad doesn't post much on here, so I thought I'd do it for him. He's a buddy of mine in NYC. We hung out quite a bit around New Year's time and a few months after. Here's his Animal Crossing info:

1590-8178-8368, Brad in Astoria

I figured I'd give a little description of some of my friends on here so it feels more like a "network" of friends rather than a bunch of strangers.

Right now Wes is the only other friend on this blog who has Animal Crossing (I will post MY code once I register it... too busy playing right now). I met Wes through his wife, Christina, whom I've been friends with since college. They got married awhile ago and they're two awesome people. They love video games, so I love them.

I'd love them regardless, but you know, the video game thing doesn't hurt.

My Wii Codes

So, here are my codes...

Wii Console Code - 1044 0812 2968 8585

Game Codes:

Super Smash Brothers Brawl - 1075-0397-9637

Bomberman Blast - 2449-7749-0655

I think those are my only "online capable" games as of yet. I'm sure there will be more to come, and I'll be updating this list. So, post yours and let's get registering!

... and I'll be posting Wii Codes in the side bar for easier access, as opposed to searching through the blog for someone's codes.

Wii are on our way...

Let me start by saying I am hopeful that this really works and takes off.

I am creating this blog in hopes that a social network of sorts will form organically. Sure, this could be done through MySpace or Facebook, but I think it'd work best as a blog. Besides, the real point is to play with people you actually know.

Share. Love. Play Wii.

I want to get a jump start on Wii games that have online capabilities. I want to have a place I can play people I know, or know through a friend. While online capabilities have taken gaming to a much awaited level, online gaming has become so incredibly faceless at times that it loses its original purpose. If I wanted to fight/race/play against an anonymous player, a CPU will do just fine. Some may argue that even an anonymous player brings more of a challenge than a CPU, but that's not the point.

The point is I want to form a group of people who want to play Wii together and perhaps know each other. Is that too much to ask?

So I guess how this will work is I will slowly but surely add authors to this blog who will then trade Wii codes with each other, and we'll all play together online. Woo hoo!
